As a general rule of thumb, affiliates are lazy.
Well, maybe ‘lazy’ is too strong of a word; ‘busy’ is probably a better word. (Note: an affiliate is a person who sells for you, and then you pay them a commission when a sale is made)
Affiliates are people like you and me.
They are managing their own online businesses, they’re working on many different projects, and they don’t often have time to craft a well-written e-mail to mail out to their list on your behalf.
Now, I too, am an affiliate for several products and services that I use and that I believe in.
But I, like you and others, get busy and sometimes have to rely on ‘canned’ e-mail messages that other people have written.
So anyway, on Monday, I was writing three different broadcasts that I wanted to send out Tuesday morning, and I ran out of time to write an original message in my own voice.
