Yes, it's true.

After 3 years I am closing my Shopping Cart Club. It has been a great 3 years but now it's time to move
onto other projects. I will be folding the Shopping Cart Club websites into the Shopping Cart Secrets program and putting more energy into that.

It just did not make sense to maintain 2 different programs, and I wanted to create more space to develop new programs.

You should still have access to the club materials for a limited time during this transition. All of the recurring billings have been stopped and you will not be charged anymore.

Setting Recurring Commissions to NOT pay the first one

Let's say you have a product and you don't want to pay out a commission on the first payment, but you DO want to pay out commissions on the recurring billing.

Here is how you do it.

Go in and set your commission level for the product to .01 – the system needs SOME amount so that it can calculate commissions on the recurring.

Then go into your product on the recurring and set your prices. This way they will not get commissions on the first sale, but they will get commissions on the recurring

Sending Broadcasts and Saving Drafts

If you have been with the shopping cart company for a long time, then this tip will shed some light for you.

The shopping cart has changed how broadcasts 'drafts' and 'sent' items work.

Here is how it works, you create a broadcast message and it gets put into the Drafts column. Then when you send it, it moves to the 'sent' column. If you want to send another message working from one you already sent, then you edit the sent item, and then click 'save draft'

this will create a new draft, and your original one is always there back in the 'sent' column.

This may seem confusing at first, but then it makes sense once you get it!

Fixing Retracted Commissions

Sometimes for various reasons you need to remove a commission from an affiliate. This can happen in various ways, like for example if a customer makes a purchase through their own affiliate link. Or perhaps you are taking a phone order, and you had previously clicked on one of your affiliates links.

For whatever reason, you may need to "retract" that commission. The way you do that is to find the order and click on update commissions and void out that order.

But you need to do one more thing, you need to check that you had not already paid out that commission. You see the retracted commissions will show up when you go to pay your comissions. It will show up as a negative amount.

So, if you have not paid out that "retracted" commission, then you want to make sure that you settled it in your shopping cart account.

So go to the details for that affiliate, and click on the check box and mark it as 'settled'

Once you do that, you will see that the commission has been adjusted
