How Do I Go Back and Find HTML for a Form Later?
Posted by: | CommentsQuestion: Winnie asks – Once I have an autoresponder created, how can I go back into the shopping cart to find the html to paste into a website if I didn't do this right away?
Answer: If you didn't save the HMTL code, you can create a new form by going to: Email & Marketing – Custom Forms – Create Forms.
Choose the fields that you want to be visible or required on your form, then click Next Step.
In the Thank You URL field, enter the web page where you want the person to go after they submit the form, or leave the default URL in that field. Use the drop down list to select the autoresponder you want linked to the form.
Then select whether or not you want to receive an email message with information when the form is submitted.
Then click Create Form and you'll be able to select and copy your code on the next page.
How Can A Free Teleseminar be Set Up as an Opt-In?
Posted by: | CommentsQuestion: Melanie asks: "Do you feel it's a good idea to make free teleseminars an opt-in and how can that be done? "
Answer: Requiring people to sign up for a free teleseminar is definitely recommended, as it will let you add them to your database and build your list.
Here are the steps to do that:
1) Create an autoresponder with the call details for your free teleseminar
2) Create a web page on your website, or blog, or use the system generated one you can find under 'Setup'–> Site links. You can customize this opt in page with additional copy and images. Mine looks like this: http://www.marketerschoice.com/app/contact.asp?ID=51500
3) Create a thank you page for the Opt in box, or use the system generated opt in page that you get inside your account. Mine looks like this: http://www.marketerschoice.com/app/thankyou.asp?merchantid=51500
Or, better yet, use the Instant Teleseminar Event system that gives you a teleseminar web page automatically for you. See and example of what that looks like on my sales page for my InstantTeleseminarTraining.com
The thank you URL for the form should be the web page that has the phone in details for the call.
4) connect your thank you page to your opt in and link up the autoresponder to that as well.
(the steps for this are different depending upon which technique you are using)
This will get people the free teleseminar info, AND buid your list in the process!
How Can I Offer Different Commission Rates to Individual Affiliates?
Posted by: | CommentsQuestion: "I would like to offer my affiliate special commissions for a product launch- 25% is the default but I'd also like offer them a 40% commission for sending out a dedicated mailing to their list, and an 80% one day launch special. Can I do this? And can I just give these commissions to individual affiliates and not the whole list?"
Answer: Individual affiliate commission rates can be set in each affiliate's record.
Go to Email & Marketing – Affiliates – Manage Affiliates – and search for affiliate you want to change the commission for.
Click the person's name to review their account details.
Several lines from the bottom of this page you'll see the field for "Commission Rate" and you can change the default setting.
If you only want the special commission rates to apply to a few affiliates, you'll need to change each setting manually.
You could set the rate to 40% for these affiliates, and then reset it to 80% just for the day of the special launch.
How Do I Subscribe A User to Multiple Autoresponders?
Posted by: | CommentsQuestion: I got a question from Winnie "I'd like to allow people to choose which free report they want when they sign up for my newsletter. While everyone will get the same newsletter, I'd like to somehow be able to segregate the list based on which report they choose (so I'd have 3 groups…the main one with everyone, then sub-list A and sub-list B). Can I do this? If I can, please tell me how. Thanks. Winnie"
Answer: You can subscribe people to more than one autoresponder from a single web form by using a little HTML to modify the form code. A detailed description of this step by step process can be found here:
