Using Aweber for Blog Posts via Email
ByI have just finished researching aweber and blog broadcasting.
The idea is that you can post to your blog, and aweber will automatically send out a broadcast of that blog post. It's a very cool concept. I had mentioned on one of our club calls, that I was planning in integrating aweber with my website, so that I'd be using the shopping cart system, PLUS aweber. Well since aweber has the 'Blog Broadcast' feature, which is way cool, I figured I'd start with that one.
It won't work here inside the members area, because this blog is protected.
Some people prefer having email notifications of blog posts, than having an RSS feed.
Well, the Aweber blog broadcast feature does NOT work behind the aMember folder protection wall. Bummer! I will implement this on my main blog at http://www.ChristinaHills.com.
Christina,
Thanks for the blog! I'm confused over how to sign up to receive emails when a new post goes up. You say, "Just enter your name and email address on the right side, in the dotted box, and when I post club tips, you will get notified in your email."
Where is the dotted box?
Thanks,
Marianne
Because this Club Tips blog is behind the amember protection, the Aweber blog to email does not work here in the club area. If I can find a way to fork a feed, I may be able to get it to work
Christina,
So, have you decided to use Aweber for all of your mailing list or do you still use the autoresponder feature inside of 1SC?
I am trying to decide if I should use Aweber solely for my mailing list and 1SC for my digital downloads, tracking, and affiliate program.
The reason I am having a hard time making the decision is because I love 1SC system. However, with Aweber you have the ability to move people automatically from one list to another. This means if I have someone on my prospects list and they buy it will take them off that list and I wont be double marketing to them.
Also, you can exclude people if they are on certain list.
Just wanted to get your thoughts.
Latrisha,
I use both aweber AND 1shoppingcart for my email broadcasts
both have their plusses and minuses
so I work with the best features of both
